European League: Bassano 19-0 Herne Bay UnitedHerne Bay United travelled to Italy at the weekend to take on top Italian side Bassano in their second Champions league match. Bassano are currently third in the Italian league and needed to score as many goals as they could as they drew their first match with tournament favourites Reus. Maidstone Open CompetitionSeven of our skaters attended the Maidstone Opens held at Mote Park on 13 and 14 September. The Saturday events saw five skaters all competing in their first solo exhibition event. British ChampionshipsTwo of our skaters recently competed at the senior British Championships held at Haywards Heath. Laura Minter was 8th in her event while Debbie Foreman was 4th. Well done both of you.
British ChampionshipsSeveral of our skaters have recently taken part in this year's British Championships. The Espoir Championships took place in Beaumont Leys in Leicester. Krystyna Wale was our only skater and she came 4th out of 21 skaters, narrowly missing 3rd place which would have automatically put her in the squad to go to the Cup of Europe in Italy.
