Goodwood Roller Marathon
This year the Goodwood Roller Marathon took place on Sunday 9 August at the Goodwood Race Circuit, West Sussex with a choice of races to enter - 2, 5, 11 or 22 laps. Last year club president Ron Barker took part along with daughter Geraldine; Ron skated two laps in 55 minutes 25.45 seconds while Geraldine did 11 laps in 4 hours 9 minutes 6.19 seconds. This year we had six skaters who all had a go at the 11 lap full marathon. Their results are shown below.
