Carnival
We entered the 2007 Herne Bay carnival which took place on August 11.
Most of our under 11 teams along with a few older players and adult helpers skated or walked the route along the seafront and High Street. It was hot and sunny and lots of people lined the pavements. We gave out lots of leaflets and our buckets were very heavy at the end!
We were awarded 3rd place in our category of 'Trade Tableaux Company, Sports or Social Club' and received a certificate.
Everyone that took part enjoyed the carnival and we are already looking forward to next year!
